Upcoming National Holidays in Argentina for 2025

In Argentina, several holiday dates and non-working days have been established for the year 2025. Among them are Columbus Day on October 12, National Sovereignty Day on November 24, and Christmas on December 25. Additionally, there are dates that have been declared non-working for tourist purposes, such as November 21 and August 15. These days provide opportunities for people to take advantage of longer rest periods and engage in tourism activities.

One aspect to consider is the increase of a fine that is commonly committed by drivers during the summer. This measure aims to promote safer behavior on the roads and ensure the protection of all road users. On the other hand, several long weekends have been established during the year 2025, allowing for the possibility to plan getaways and enjoy leisure moments.

Furthermore, it has been confirmed that February 10 will be a holiday in Argentina, creating a long weekend for municipal workers in General Pueyrredón, especially in Mar del Plata. Additionally, a holiday has been decreed for February 7, allowing certain people to enjoy a new extended weekend. Banco Provincia also regularly communicates the schedule of local non-working days in the province of Buenos Aires, facilitating the organization of activities and rest for citizens.

The first national long weekend in 2025 is expected from March 1 to March 4, coinciding with the celebration of Carnival and providing four consecutive days of rest. This national holiday calendar established by the Government includes important dates such as Memory Day, Veteran and Fallen in the Malvinas War Day, as well as commemorations of historical figures like General Martín Miguel de Güemes and General Manuel Belgrano.
